I started my education at Lagrange College, a very small school in Georgia. And then, I went on to get a Master’s in Clinical Psychology in South Carolina. After that, I worked for a while as a Behavior Specialist, working specifically with preschool children. Then, I earned a Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology in Mississippi. My research focused on child development.
I’ve been teaching for about 9 years, and those classes have mainly focused on development. I’m a mother of a girl, who is almost 3. It’s great to have so many fun stories from our experiences with her to use for teaching, as well as for my blog!
My husband is a football coach and loves Georgia Tech Football! I actually met him while we were both lifeguards in Georgia.
