Amazon Prime Day is coming quickly! The dates for it are July 15th and 16th, so it’s time to start looking out for amazing deals! This is a big day for Amazon, in that there’s lots of deals that are similar to what you may see on Black Friday. According to one article, there should be more than a million deals on those days.

How Can I Participate in Amazon Prime Day?

In order to participate, you do have to be an Amazon Prime member. So, one way to do that is to sign up using my affiliate link:

There are lots of benefits included with Prime such as unlimited FREE two-day shipping, the ability to borrow Kindle books, as well as lots of cool tv shows and movies!

Also, if you are interested, you can try Amazon Family. As a member of this, you can save up to 20% on diapers, baby food, and more!!

Once you have your trial or membership ready to go, you can use the Amazon mobile app to watch the deals you like. That is, you can get an alert when your item goes on sale! Then, on Prime Day, you can go to, the Amazon app, or Alexa for access to deals.

What Deals can I Expect Before Prime Day?

1. You can get $10 to spend on Amazon for Prime Day when you spend $10 at Whole Foods Market or on Prime Now.

2. You can earn a $10 bonus when you reload $100 or more to your Amazon gift card for the first time.

3. Get a $10 Amazon credit when you sign into the Amazon app for the first time (and another $10 Amazon credit after your first in-app purchase.

4. Amazon Fire Recast

If you visit this page, it says for a limited time that this costs $129.99, as a Prime exclusive (it looks like you have to have prime to get it at that price now).

5. Amazon Fire TV stick

This includes Prime video channels, as well as 2 months of HBO. This offer is only for Prime members though.

6. Ring Video Doorbell + Echo Dot

You can get this for $169 if you are a Prime member. This deal won’t last long!

What Deals Can I Expect on Prime Day?

Non-Tech Deals

You can save up to 30% on school essentials, as well as up to 30% off of college gear. In addition, there are deals on household essentials and clothing. Prime members can also have up to 20% on Stone and Beam Furniture.

There also may be some great deals on toys and games! So, keep an eye out for those!

Tech Deals

You can expect that the most deals will likely come from Amazon’s own products such as Amazon Fire Tablets, Alexa Enabled Echo Smart Devices, and Fire TV gadgets. For example, you might want to watch for deals on this Amazon Fire Tablet for kids:
